We came together in a P4C workshop organized by PAYDAŞ Education Culture and Art Association, hosted by BİRİKİM Culture and Art Association, accompanied by practitioner Devrim Sarı Battistessa.
We dedicated our philosophical investigation to “March 8, International Working Women’s Day.” We conducted a philosophical investigation based on Nail Vahdet Çakırhan’s poem “Women’s Telakkisi”.
Thanks to the high energy of the participants, we pursued many concepts, questions and opinions. The taste of our workshop remained in our mouths.
Some questions from our workshop:

Do women need protection in society? Why?
Why is the concept of woman covered so much in the media?
Why does the human species think about being male and female?
How does the society we live in affect our prejudices?
What does victim psychology mean?
What does human nature mean?
What is gender equality?
How is gender equality reflected in education?
What are traditional social roles? How do these roles affect children?
What is justice?
What is prejudice?
Is there a distinction between female and male professions?
Are there prejudices that men are exposed to?
Have women always been oppressed throughout history?
What is society?
Are we, as individuals, individual parts of society?
