İlkşehir Theater was established in Zonguldak in September 2019. İlkşehir Theater aims to increase the individual and collective awareness of the trainees (playmates) in the child, youth and adult groups it has structured, about themselves and their environment, through theater training and workshops, and to put all the stage work done into practice by staging a theater play at the end of the term. Moreover; with a semi-amateur and semi-professional approach, it is aimed to include theater enthusiasts in the groups as actors in the theater productions that İlkşehir will stage.
İlkşehir also cooperates with the theater clubs of Civil Society Organizations (CSO) in the city with theater training and workshops. Various plays are prepared and staged in cooperation with Sahneczacı, the theater group within the 17th Region Zonguldak Chamber of Pharmacists.
In this regard, cooperation with Paydaş Education Culture and Art Association in all culture and art activities of the association continues from our establishment until today. İlkşehir is not only a theater training institution, but also a theater that stages its own theater productions.
