The training activities of the project titled “The Digital State of Volunteerism” in the field of Erasmusplus KA153, supported by the Turkish National Agency of the Directorate for EU Affairs, were carried out in Zonguldak with the organization of the coordinating institution Paydaş Eğitim Kültür ve Sanat Derneği .
Youth leaders from Hungary, Macedonia and Romania participated in the training activities together with Turkey.
The workshops of the project titled “Digital State of Volunteerism” were held between April 7-13, 2025.
In the training workshops of the project called “The Digital State of Volunteerism”, trainings were given on topics such as improving the digital skills of young people, career planning, making conscious use of technology opportunities, teamwork techniques. A certificate ceremony was organized for the participants.
With the organization of Çaycuma District Governorship, Çayır Cave, Filyos Castle Çaycuma central regions were visited. In the program, youth leaders examined the ancient ruins of the region under the guidance of Prof Dr Şahin Yıldırım, Head of Filyos Tios Excavation.
Zonguldak Municipality organized a dinner organization for young people in Zonguldak center.
On the final night of the program, a cultural night was organized with the organization of Kilimli Municipality.
With the KİFSED Association, which gave examples of folk dances of the Zonguldak region, young people from Europe had the opportunity to get to know Turkish culture more closely.
Youth leaders from Macedonia, Romania and Hungary also presented examples of their cultural values.
Önder Küçüköner, the president of the association, thanked Kilimli Municipality, Kilimli Mayor Kamil Altun and KİFSED on behalf of the association for opening their doors to young people for this beautiful cultural night. He also thanked Çaycuma District Governor Adem Kaya and Zonguldak Mayor Tahsin Erdem for their important contributions to the youth program.
