I was born in Muş in 1981. In 2007, I graduated from Gazi University, Department of Family Economics and Nutrition Education. In the same year, I started my professional career as a Technology and Design Teacher in Van city center. Between 2007 and 2010, I continued this position in Van.
In 2010, I was appointed to the province of Zonguldak, where I worked as a Technology and Design Teacher. In 2012, I changed my subject area and transitioned to the field of Food and Beverage Services. During this process, I held the following positions respectively:
Founding Director of Kilimli Public Education Center,
Teacher at the Zonguldak Provincial Directorate of National Education R&D Unit,
Vice Principal at Zonguldak Girls’ Vocational High School.
For the past three years, I have been working as Vice Principal at Zonguldak Vocational Training Center Directorate.
My purpose in being part of Paydaş Derneği, a platform where educators, young people, and individuals devoted to education come together, is to contribute to social and community development and to be part of the meaningful work that the association has adopted as its mission. I currently serve as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors of Paydaş Derneği.
Throughout my teaching career, I have mainly focused on developing social responsibility projects, striving to address the challenges faced particularly by individuals in disadvantaged groups.
In this context, I have designed and implemented various projects aimed at raising social awareness, supporting equal opportunities, and contributing to both the academic and social development of students.
In the projects I have led, my main goal has been not only educational success but also enhancing the participation of students and their families in social life, their cultural interaction, and their overall quality of life.
I have implemented projects that facilitate disadvantaged children’s access to artistic, cultural, and sports activities, and that raise awareness in areas such as health, nutrition, sports, and environmental consciousness.
As a result of these efforts, I have been honored with various awards and certificates of appreciation both locally and nationally. Among the recognitions I have received:
In 2014, I was selected as the “Changemaker of the Year” by Sabancı Foundation,
In 2015, I received the “Teacher of the Year” award from the Ministry of National Education,
In 2016, I was awarded second place in Turkey in the category of “Most Extraordinary Education Administrator of the Year” through a national vote.
