The Zonguldak Gençlik Çalıştayı was organized by the Paydaş Eğitim Kültür ve Sanat Derneği.
In the workshop, key topics such as Employment, Career Planning, Social Entrepreneurship, Skill Development, and National-International Project Development were highlighted. Experts in their fields, Dr. Hasibe Özgümüş, Nurcan Yılmaz, and Hikmet Yılmaz, shared their knowledge with the youth based on scientific data. Stakeholder Project Coordinators Tayfun Demircan and Onur Kara also presented their session on Planning the Future from the perspective of the youth.

💠 Employment-Oriented New Approaches & Nurcan Yılmaz / Job Club Leader
In the rapidly changing job market, innovative approaches are needed beyond traditional employment methods. These innovative solutions aim to meet the needs of employers while also addressing the expectations of employees. In the presentation on Employment-Oriented Innovative Approaches, AI tools such as resume-building programs and job-matching algorithms were discussed. Information was shared about the expanding gig economy and the areas where flexible working models could be applied. Concepts such as mentoring, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning, which are crucial in developing new skills and abilities, were also highlighted. New job fields created by collaborations and ecosystems were discussed. New career fields such as green careers and digital careers were mentioned, with an emphasis on ensuring sustainability in one’s career in today’s workforce.
💠 Youth’s Entrepreneurial Skills & Hikmet Yılmaz / President of the Women Entrepreneurs Board of the Zonguldak Chamber of Commerce and Industry
What is social entrepreneurship? What are the stages of becoming an entrepreneur and under what conditions do they occur? These questions were clarified in the presentation. The importance of social entrepreneurship in today’s economic and social conditions and important examples from Turkey and around the world were emphasized. It was pointed out how young people should draw their roadmap to reach innovative approaches and the principles they should follow. Information was provided about how the perspectives of social entrepreneurship and employment intersect and the roles of public and private institutions operating in this field.
💠 National-International Project Preparation and Participation Opportunities & Dr. Hasibe Özgümüş / Project Coordinator-Municipal Manager
What is a project? What conditions and stages are required to develop a project? These questions were answered. The goals of national and international projects, the target groups, project trainings, tips, and the institutions and experts in the field were discussed. In the new world order, the opening process of STKs (Civil Society Organizations), companies, and public institutions to project-oriented innovative approaches was explored, as well as the organic link between public & civil society collaborations, academic work, and project studies. The presentation focused on innovative solutions for societal problems. Dr. Hasibe Özgümüş also presented her international projects in the field of Civil Society Dialogue, which she developed and coordinated:

💠 Tayfun Demircan / Youth Projects Coordinator
An evaluation of university education, youth clubs, and student mobility activities was made. The potential gains of youth in the international arena through Erasmus were discussed. The skills for project writing and management, changes and developments in the world from the perspective of youth, future planning discipline, and leadership skills were addressed.
💠 Onur Kara / Innovation Projects Developer
A presentation was made on digital skills, cybersecurity, and innovation-oriented approaches to social issues.
💠 Önder Küçüköner / President of the Stakeholders Association
A concluding report was presented on national-international organizational skills, intergenerational interaction, and the conjunctural relationships between employment, career planning, social entrepreneurship, and project development.
