Donated in 2015 by Turkish National Agency, the chief goal of our Project is to have the Maths teacher vocational development by integrating the information and communication technology (ICT)to their subjects. In this context ,three outputs were planned .(Open Online Course-OOC),Open Educational Recourses (Open Educational Recourses-OER),Online teacher Community (Online teacher Community-OTC)
Planned as 3 modul OOC, it will be produced by the guidance of Hacettepe University.
Modul 1: ICT integration into learning and teaching
Modul 2: Using Geogebra
Modul 3: Improving Geogebra material
Hacettepe University ,Computer and Instructional Technology Education (CITE),it will form the Modul 1 by using the know how on the integration of Computer and Instructional Technology Education.
Modul 2 will be prepared by the Botasani Geogebra Community.One of the goal of the Community is to teach Geogebra and in this way to supply the vocational development for the teachers. In this modul,it is aimed to gain Geogebra skill and information about it.
Modul 3 will be prepared by Department of Mathematics Education Johannes Kepler University ,Linz. In modul 3,teachers will learn how to prepare education material for their classes by using Geogebra. Besides, teacher will get feedback from their colleagues and experts in this modul. At the end of the OOC, JKU and AIGB will be able to evaluate the material and then they will be open to all teachers access and convert into Open Education Recourses.
Together with the new participants ,The teachers who access to Open Online Course-OOC, will be directed to Online Teachers Community (OTC).In this Community, after the teachers training programme, the teachers will share their class applications, Geogebra teaching material they developed and lesson plan supported by technology .
In scope of reproducing activities,290 teachers will join the seminars and workshops. These activities include teaching and learning Maths through technology. In short, the focus of this project is to improve digital integration in teaching and learning. Maths teachers will learn CT based teaching , innovated method and technology based situations.
All intellectual outputs will continue online during and after the project .
