💠 Under the coordination of Zonguldak Gençlik Merkezi activities of the project “From Deep Blue to the Future: Zonguldak Gençlik Merkezi Energy Workshop” are ongoing. We met with Bülent Ecevit Üniversitesi faculty members Prof. Dr. Kemal Barış and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fuad Alhajomar, who will take part in the project, at the Zonguldak Youth Center, and carried out strategic planning meetings.
Institutions that will take part in the activities coordinated by Zonguldak Gençlik Merkezi include Zonguldak Ticaret ve Sanayi Odası Paydaş Eğitim Kültür ve Sanat Derneği and Zonguldak Prof. Dr. Şaban Teoman Duralı Science and Art Center, all collaborating to establish training workshops for young people.
💠 Alongside the coal mining tradition closely associated with Zonguldak, recent natural gas discoveries and production activities have transformed the region into an energy hub, increasing the need for a skilled workforce in the energy sector. With this project, it is aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of secondary school and university students interested in energy technologies, provide them with hands-on experience, strengthen their innovation and entrepreneurship capacities, and directly connect young people with the sector.
